The terms state the tenant is responsible to keep grounds sanitary and clean and if they don't I have the rite to evict as far as I understand it.Yes the PM really messed up by letting it go to the point of the township getting involved...I plan on getting rid of them once this is resolved...In NJ I also legally have to offer a new lease in February which is crazy IMO.

With an older property, if the previous owners have NOT dealt with the issues, then those issues are often readily visible (for instance, if the house had structural issues that were not resolved, the sagging will often be visible on a 50+ year old house, but may not be visible on a 10 year old house).Here's a real-life example: I bought a new property; a very nice and spacious place with cathedral ceilings and some nice amenities.

I have had electric baseboard installed and that seems to have resolved the issue.That code is that he referenced I think is here: https://codes.iccsafe.org/s/IB...The fact that the tenants can do things that cause the temp to drop is the part where the the property manager will grow grey hairs because the tenants can cause serious harm to the manager here.
