I've kicked around limiting the size of the animal to under 35 lbs, partially because I personally feel bad for large animals stuck in small units without running space.  

Also what kind of prices were you expecting to pay and for what size property (multi unit is a bit broad)?

After that look for condos that are similar size and similar Condo fee close by.

@Jason Rowlett, You'll use one "agent" or qualified intermediary who will handle the 1031 exchange portion of your closings on both the sale and purchase.

It seems ridiculous to me that they are even counting the undrawn portion against you, let alone the surge thing.

The attorney fees alone would consume a sizable portion of a $500k or so seed raise.
