My name is Mercury from Arizona and Houston and I am excited to be apart this awesome platform that allows investors like myself to network with others .

I am most interested in wholesaling and I am glad to have come across BiggerPockets, where I know it will serve me as a platform to help me get started with my business.

What I have found to this point is that it's a great platform for all phases of RE and REI.The members here have been great...all sharing experiences, posting questions and willing to help others with their issues.Enjoy...I hope to see you in the forums.If I can be of any assistance feel free to contact me.

Do i have to start a crowd funding platform or are there other answers?

Depending on the structure of the crowd funding platform, AND the investment option, you might or might not own an equity piece in the ASSET, as opposed to an equity interest in the holding company owning the asset.  

If I weren't using all Mac computers, I might consider switching platforms.

Secondly, if that is the course I'll need to complete, I've been unable to find clear information on where I can take the actual exam.My confusion really stems from me asking these same questions to a friend that lives in Colorado (also seeking his license), who had very different answers from what I've found above.
