I agree that BP has too many terms interchanged and is very loosely used, for example, one guy starting out wanted to be his own GC, because he will be hiring subs, pulling the permit as owner-builder, and managing the project, there was no mention of any licensing, to me the very basic requirements of a GC is being licensed and eating up liability.
