100% agree that getting to know people in the industry who are brokers, lawyers, lenders, even other newer syndicators who are around 1-100m aum to get a sense of how they are dealing with the process of getting their business started. 

Or even better, a good lawyer who specializes in parks that can write one up and guide me through what I need to be aware of?

You can probably stipulate the method of payment, but I'm not a lawyer :D If you're changing it after the fact, it may be a bit harsh to go to ACH.

(I have a great lawyer who listens to Bigger Pockets, if you need one.)  

We are requesting transparency in context behind these actions but wanted to prepare with a lawyer.  

Luckily, I had my lawyer review the purchase agreement first.

I encourage anyone who cares to protect the public to make a complaint on that site.. you can do it without leaving your name for those that may be to timid to post on BP.. but it gets a huge circulation.And as well to be fair to Morris and OP there is a rebuttal section so he can rebut if he choose to engage.. however I suspect he will be ( if he has not already) lawyering up and getting ready for the legal onslaught that is about to rain upon him :)  you just can't screw this many people for this much money and then DUCK and throw OP under the bus.. granted they were bad.. but Morris Ouch.

You need a lawyer!

Not sure wasting our time, the IRS, or the time of a skilled lawyer, is worth the effort when the numbers look hard to achieve (and be IRS accepted).
