And although I don't believe you would have to be a rocket scientist do do a proper application(s), I do believe there are certain tricks of the trade that you may know learn from the internet.

OR the demographic of your renter is one that does not have internet access.

Craigslist doesn't seem to do much because I assume most of that class of tenant doesn't cruise the internet.
