Yes, the fire department required self closing hinges on the apartment doors but they are older wood doors so I noticed that now some don't always self close.

For a high-end house like yours, I think you'd want the wood-tile option...OR better yet - Engineered Wood.

Plaster on metal lath construction, always more durable than plaster on wood lath or plasterboard and early drywall.

They had a massive presence up in my neck of the woods and then "poof" now they are all empty buildings.
