I needed to dig deeper and really come to terms with the service my wholesaling company offers to sellers. 

We have been told they're receptive to this new offer.To me this sounds like a very emotional seller who probably should have taken our original (scary for us) offer w/ no contingencies.

Bottom line, real estate won't be affected...except perhaps for the second home market where some real estate may be offloaded quickly as an emotional response.
