Clayton and Natalie are no dummies they knew they would get wiped out financially so they decamped.. very tough to sue someone in another country .. the only remedy or justice will be if the US govmit in some form or fashion decides ( like his partner Whalen) to bring criminal charges..

They recently issued a criminal complaint with a formal court order number documented!

If your property manager has failed to remit funds they collected that is a crime and you should file criminal charges against their principals with the court commissioner.

This house hadn't had any maintenance on it since the 80's, and was in complete disrepair (the before pics don't do justice).

That's not a criminal matter, though, so not strictly "illegal".

And be careful, too: when criminal checks are done, they may show only felonies.
