Trying to assess the pros and cons.Thoughts anyone? 

The property got assessed in 2020 and the value almost trippled.

I would recommend getting an engineering company to come out an assess the damage.

In one complex, there was a special assessment that was $1,500 because they decided to retile some of the roofs ahead of schedule after storm damage but insurance funds were also involved and I agreed with the decision.  

"Buying" the property from the LLC is a federally taxable transaction and may result in transfer taxes being assessed by your county/local government. 

Another great place to look is to see what finishes are being used by new home builders in the area.Once I've assessed the level of finishes needed, I take my most basic remodel rate and increase by 15% for every level of higher end finishes required to match the neighborhood standard.

Anyone have a good recommendation or referral on an agents or consultant to appeal property tax assessments on commercial properties? 

Initial assessment from civil will cost you around 2-3K and once you ask them to move forward it will cost around 8K-15 K depending on how many separation that you want to have .

That is because both GSE’s assess Loan-level pricing adjustments (LLPA) - fees based on certain criteria such as loan purpose, property type, loan to value, etc.
