I like this method because for most of the large cities, demand for housing in the downtown, high-rise areas remains very strong, and they have now generated a massive influx of capital they can use to take advantage of a short-term blip or screaming deals that come their way.

@Cory Mccarthy  Texas = JOBS  is why prices held.Although I had many a debate with those that were buying in 2010.was it better to buy in Atlanta or Vegas or Phx  houses that the prices crashed and and were selling at 25% of their highs.. or did you drink the cool aid and think that since Texas prices remained relatively stable its a better place to invest.As it turns out Texas has had some run up with prices..
