@Kenneth DiGiovanni JrJoin your local groups- real estate investors association, apt association, meetup’s and network and get educated.If you don’t have local ones or can’t go in person, the Cincinnati and the Columbus ones are completely onlinewith focus groups on new investors, notes, apartments, landlording, passive investing, etc.Definitely look into notes investing, house-hacking, rental arbitrage, or renting out a room in your house to get started.

Regarding Columbus, this summer we looked at Columbus for investing in and we liked what we saw in Upper Arlington and a couple of areas just east of the Conservatory.

I would say Columbus, OH in particular, is the most landlord-friendly city in the state.
