We help our clients "manage the managers" and have found that beyond just the normal screening questions you would ask mentioned above, find one with a good track record, clear and easy to understand financial accounting software and is CLOSE or specializes in the area of your property. 

I would prioritize finding an accountant who specializes in real estate taxation over one that is local.There are 20+ accountants on this message board who specialize in real estate taxation.

A good lender should be able to recommend a general contractor who specializes in these loans.  

I am sure someone will chime in with some insight on some special lending idea/package that is much more difficult than just conventional financing. 

Upper income people will always want to live somewhere special and NPB is special.
