What could someone do on forward with $5-%7K in regards of investing that amount of money? Is that a good amount for something that would get something started? Anything at all.Thank you in advance!

I'm from Houston and looking to get into short term as well. 

He short answered most of my questions for example I was interested in learning about a deal of his that wasn’t so amazing.

So much info it is a little overwhelming but I am listening to podcasts daily plus trying to read more blogs and forums.My short term goals are as follows for now until I exceed them.I will buy my first investment property before the end of 2018.In 3 years I will be making 5k in passive income.In 5 years I will be making 10k in passive income.Ideally I would like to find some local people I could help and learn from.

By the same token, If the hunting season is short and the winter is long in the Yampa Valley does that mean that a property you put into Cabellas Preferred hunting lease program isn't being held for investment when the Elk are in Utah and snow is on the ground - nope, that's still being held for productive use awaiting the next season.It's the same as any agricultural land. 

I'll try to keep this as short as possible! 

I recently purchased a rental property for cash with a short term unsecured loan because it was such a good deal(numbers below).

Or do I just hope and pray they let it go, since their due diligence is a short timeframe?

Fix and Flips are a lot of work for a few bucks and it creates short-term capital gains.
