My immediate course of action is to transition over to a small multiplex and rent out the extra units so that I can live alone and still have the property paid for by someone else.My goal is to acquire enough buy and hold properties to be able to retire on the cash flow within 6 years.

In the meantime, I've also been applying to various Government positions - at a significantly reduced rate of pay in that unless I move, the likelihood of my finding another job in my field is very slim...and I have about another 20 years of working before reaching retirement age.I interviewed for a residential real estate appraiser position at Jefferson County.
