I hope they keep him in for more than 36 hours this time.When it rains it pours with this guy.

@Oraude Boston  clearing title is the fun part... liens, judgement, code violations are not uncommon when we are all out there digging up deals that are off market.     

I Went down to city and county to find out what I needed to do to file a judgement on him.

It's expected to rain today or tomorrow and hopefully the sump pump solves this issue. 

You dont have to rely on your own judgement, bring some friends over and ask them for their opinion.

I would look at them because you never know but you make the final judgement .

I would be extra cautious about verifying that you really want to own this property and not let the "great deal falling in your lap" cloud your better judgement about the real value of this property.

I went to the mediation today and I was told the landlord received a judgement order for $800 against me.

However, the judgement/upset amount published in the sheriff's website is $853,000, and the judgement posted in the newspaper is higher at $990,000 - significantly higher than the open obligations I found.I've done a thorough job about checking the title at the county clerk's and statewide judgment database.What could I be missing here?  

Also will city code violations be enforced on the landlord or tenants and is judgement needed for this?
