It's not as easy as it sounds - you'd need to find a contractor and manage the work and likely refinance into a longer term loan when it is stabilized.

I find that interior designers make the best "contractors" versus a full blown builder.They value engineer better with paint and flooring, and perhaps some cabinets.

Starting out I had the best contractor on my first 3 deals, 2 flips and 1 rental.
