The guy even had the audacity to call MY APPRAISER and ask him to change the borrower name on the appraisal I PAID FOR into his name.

For example, I have one tenant in a 2 bedroom apt who pays just $90 while Section 8 makes up the rest of the $925, and another tenant in another 2 bedroom who pays more at $175, evidently because he makes more money.With regard to screening, Section 8 does not allow anyone here in California to receive housing assistance if they have any kind of a criminal background.

You are going to have to make quite a return to compensate for the interest you are paying to borrow.

I've seen loans that borrowers got into that didn't make since from the start and the brokers laughing all the way to the bank with their 3-5%.

Need a lender that looks at property only, not borrowers credit, income, etc.

This is why you occassionally see messages on this board stating "need to borrow $100K by this Friday" or "need $100K for short term loan".Banks say they do this because they don't want to see inflated prices from speculative investing.
