A few things to keep in mind:1) any time you have a passive investor, you may potentially be entering the world of securities2) the way to avoid it is to give all partners some tasks so that everyone is active3) always discuss the potential structure with an attorney!

I'm  new to the REI world with a goal of focusing on and investing in buy and hold properties to generate monthly cash flow from rentals while I work full-time.

My region we have DC, Charlotteville which is home to UVA, Richmond which is the state capital and Hampton Roads the largest Naval base in the world, several other bases as well as Va Beach and Norfolk.

I am married to a beautiful wife of soon to be 7 years and we have an incredible son who will be 4 in April (FYI - we actually share the same birthday)I am currently in the soft tissue/rehab world (people not houses) and work at a chiropractic office.I am honestly getting into Realestate investing to achieve TRUE financial freedom for me and my family.

I started off making very little money and I would not change it for the world.
