And maybe you shopped the loan around a bit, and your fees with AmeriSave are $500 less than somewhere else, for the exact same rate (I always suggest holding constant the rate when doing that comparison, since all lenders have rate sheets that have the exact same rates, it's the fees that differ). 

Doesn't hurt to shop around, but don't get so hung up on fees and rates - with complicated transactions you want to work with the best, not the cheapest, and you want to avoid losing years off your life due to the stress of dealing with an incompetent and/or unresponsive lender.

Trying to find a one stop shop with a comprehensive list of information instead of checking 15 different county/town websites on top of all the county pages for the unincorporated areas.

I've talked to others in many states, and $30-35/sheet is pretty standard for large jobs.In fact, from what I've seen, sheetrock is one of the most consistent pricing for any renovation task...I'm guessing that 90% of the country falls in the $25-40/sheet range for large jobs if you shop around (you can certainly find guys who will charge more, especially small outfits).Sheetrock is one of the few renovation tasks where going with the largest companies tends to get you the best prices (there are tremendous economies of scale and opportunities for efficiency with sheetrock).

Most people visiting PV look to be close to popular amenities such as restaurants, shopping, beach, etc… so getting familiar with the different areas in the bay is very recommended.Some people investing in Puerto Vallarta shy away from becoming a part of the productive circle in Mexican society and do not pay taxes.

Pencil a few ideas and present to a few different shops for thier "design expertise".

Suppliers such as paint stores, roofing material and equipment rental shops may have names, Property managers may have names for you. 

I just had one put in for 3500 so you can definitely find it cheaper, you just have to shop around.
