I'm sure you're aware of the economic impact of this event, but I'd hope a STR would see traffic year round. 

It won't matter if Zillow joins REALTOR or not, they already have the lions share of traffic and if they suddenly get blocked I don't think it will stop them, it will be a death for REALTOR as their brand is no longer valuable.

Note on carpet choice...stay away from polyester, it will show traffic patterns quickly.  

As does every system...not that traffic tickets are relevant in tenant screening anyways.

Residents began moving to Prairieville, Gonzales, and Port Allen (towns on the outskirts of BR) to escape traffic as the city grew and in large numbers following the flood of 2016; as far as I know, it had nothing to do with crime rates.

To meet this influx, cities need to be planned differently integrating IoT devices to track road conditions, city maintenance, foot traffic, trash pickup, security and more.

I don't mind being in traffic...I'm used to it by now, but I don't want to be in it for 45 mins - 1hr.
