I don't really know the cost of installing cans, but since it will require rewiring, I expect it will probably cost ~$500 vs <$100 for pendant lights & using the existing wiring & touch up paint.I was wondering about some sort of mixed solution too, though I'm still unsure if ROI will justify the increased in cost.

There are always questions that need to be answered and solutions that need to be acquired on a rehab.

Just wondering if this is what others have found and if there are other solutions besides split systems which, as I stated above, haven't quite caught on yet in my neck of the woods.

Obviously, that wasn't going to be sustainable, but turnover is killer there.

Obviously, one lamp and six plants isn't going to do damage to your rental, but that also won't be enough to sustain a grow.
