There are still plenty around so you could get away with it, but it could be a liability hanging over your head if you choose to go that route.Generally, you can get more revenue from a short-term rental if you keep it filled but it also requires more active management and even some higher costs associated with turnover and utilities.

Just to round out a few comments, you can have more than one FHA product but there are very strict requirements you must meet like 25% equity in your first FHA product and certain distance between the two products.

Being under contract I am doing due diligence and have an opportunity to submit the Request for Repairs asking for the seller to give on some of the larger health and safety things I'm finding need to be done before I move into the house after I conducted an inspection and uncovered lots of baggage associated with an insurance claim for a fire at the property.My questions: - Does anyone have experience negotiating at this point in a seller's market when bigger ticket health and safety items have come back on the inspection report?
