As I've mentioned in our prior dialogue, my cousin runs a 20-something cabin resort there, and he was told that Airbnb is a liberal company that folks there don't want to support.

I found some units in the Grove Resort and have seen some varying opinions on here.

If it were not there would be no large resorts on the beaches! 

@Adam Myers - Yes, figure out the asset class you plan to play in, find the big players in your market doing what you want to do, go out of your way to provide them immense value, expect nothing in return and sooner or later, one of them will take you under their wing.

I understand end buyers typically prefer lower acquisition prices, but it also seems that Miami wholesaling is dominated by a few local players.

Most people, including landlords, will try to use reason and compromise before they have to resort to court systems. 

For me to purchase the property in Rancho Bernardo it would have to be priced such that it would make sense when (not if) I got caught and needed to address the issues.Note it could be stated that the two big players in STRs cheated. 

It is inevitable for prices to adjust (at least somewhat), but now that we have the new player in the game - inflation - that is certainly something you must consider.
