I just graduated college from App State and have recently started a new week day job. 

So after I replaced all the sewer lines under the basement floor to the property line I had one installed $500, (had to get a permit & use a lic. plumber).Then when the city was replacing sewer lines in the street several of our neighbors homes suffered basement flooding with backed-up sewerage.

A realtor I took a course from in college always impressed upon us to use an inspector you hire and not the one your realtor suggests.

College students?

Some require you to register your business and obtain a permit.

Usually, this means you won’t be able to change it….wetland, conservation designation, too small, no building permits will ever be issued due to whatever reason, etc. 

It’s a great house in a good area in Menifee, near the college and close to middle and elementary schools.

Does it make sense to get my license now? I most likely wont be practicing until I graduate in two years, but right now since it's the summer I have a load of free time to take the course and study for the exam.

So you can certainly still use them, but the buyer should be educated on what is and is not permitted and needs to be done carefully and with intent.
