Newbie Looking For Help

HUGE newbie alert! I am 22 years old and just started becoming very interested in real estate investing about a week ago. I got Rich Dad Poor Dad about an hour after researching real estate investing. I am about 80% done with it now and I thought it would be good to get my name and face out there as an interested newbie. I am in the Durham/Raleigh, NC area, but my goal is in one year to buy a duplex (rent out one unit as I live in the other) in the Fort Worth or Dallas, TX area. I just graduated college from App State and have recently started a new week day job. I am starving for knowledge and would love any kind of help I can get. Thank you!
