Then factor in the 2 seasons that draw people to the area: 1) Summer - people down south want to get away from the heat 2) Winter - people want to see snow and experience a real winter.Then throw in various events like a Bluegrass Festival, Western days, Rodeos, Etc....IMO one of the best places I've seen to operate a STR.

Here is what I have for costs on a 22 unit building in Moncton:Insurance: $7500Cleaning (common areas, with 4 entrances, 3 stories): $1,000Garbage removal: $4,000Radiant heating.... only applies to 3 units in the basement, so not comparable.

Talked to an original owner neighbor, they mentioned they had the same and it would come on by itself somehow but they didn't know what triggered it.Before digging through our attic - I figured I'd ask here...Could this be part of the overall heating system (gas furnace / forced air)?

I’m considering a capital improvement on my five unit building which would primarily yield on the expense side Specifically I am considering converting my oil steam boiler and hot water heater for the entire house to individually metered Hi efficiency gas and on-demand water heater’sThis would mean that each unit would be responsible for its own heat and I would save on oil as Well as potentially the water bill with individual meters for each unitWhat do you consider an acceptable return on investment for such an improvement?

The HOAs on my condos only include water (and building maintenance) and are relatively cheap while the other utilities are separately managed so I'm not paying for them if they aren't being used (i.e. heat/electric)
