Track down the owners by going to the county websites with the suspect property address and mail the owners a letter saying you want to buy their house.

Weld county address, zoned ag, curious if the rural properties are bringing more value from growers and can they grow in weld co?  

Its pretty common to make the property address be the name of the LLC and that was my plan but that involves not creating the LLC until at least after FINDING the property. 

The keys are having trusted resources to help (both in the REI business and with the kids), very good planning, and being very efficient working when your planning creates the opportunity for it.

@Robert, don't mean to point out the obvious, but if you have an address and/or a name you can get the phone number from the local phone book. www.intelius.com allows you to do reverse searches and I am sure there are many other sites that can provide that info.To all...I have found that most counties have what is called Geographic Information System or (GIS).

To address your comment, I agree that I can be overly optimistic in life and real estate, but I believe that in this case you are combining two pieces of research that are not related.
