I thought you could get out if it wasn't working... well, I had a tenant who is S8, and causing a lot of problems and obviously trashing the place (broken doors, busted door frames, broken cabinets)   I spoke with my lawyer, and he said no-- since it's a government backed program, it's not that simple, and there are protections to prevent landlords from terminating leases.

Plan your placement, move quickly, be sure windows are closed, but cabinets and closets all open, set them off starting at the back of the unit, and quickly work your way out.

Painted 100% of the interior and exterior window trim, replaced the front door, added tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen, painted bathroom vanity and replaced all fixtures, put in new quartz countertops on original cabinets, all new light fixtures, door knobs and handles throughout.
