As someone who's been a professional musician almost my entire life, and has played a lot of places and on bills with some fairly famous people (Darrell Scott, Carrie Rodriguez, Avett Brothers, etc), professional musicians can largely be sorted into 2 camps: those who enjoy playing music and aim to make a reasonable living doing it (think studio musicians, professional cover bands, etc) and those who have a manic dedication to their artistic vision and couldn't care less if they "make it" or not, and some of them happen to (think Bruce Springsteen or Darrell Scott).

I'm worried this neighbor is trying to scam us, as other neighbors also are complaining about the high costs.The neighbor also informed me there is an existing Road Maintenance Agreement in place that the previous owner of our property (his brother) signed years ago.As we didn't sign such an agreement, and as a matter of fact don't even know the content of it, what are our rights?

My question is for you big brothers and big sisters out there, where is a good place invest for multi family units outside of Chicago?

My brothers and I are trying to buy an Airbnb in Florida.

In our Charlotte market, rents are rising so rapidly- with 140 people moving to Charlotte every day- that even big, national builders like Lennar Homes and Toll brothers are building entire communities just for rental appreciation (classic bur and hold- but these are brand new construction homes)! 

My brother and I own a Short-term leasing company out of Milwaukee, WI that is currently focused in the rental arbitrage business model (rent apartments and short-term lease them through airbnb, vrbo, etc.).  

I am considering getting both of my brothers to put 10k/ea to give me the 60k total.
