I specifically went Laptop to assist in evaluating properties non-local to me.My requirements were:access to send/recv emailaccess to send/recv faxesobvious need for an Internet connectionand I wanted all my documents available (today the Cloud fills this need)I disdain attempting to write documents on a mobile device of any description - - imo, it's just not practical - - yeah I know there's the virtual KB, but being a touch typist myself, mobile devices are only fit for pick-n-poke at best.There are TWO tricky issues for email and faxing.

It's virtually impossible to find deals at 1% in NYC, I would advise looking at markets along the Metro-North or NJTransit lines which don't necessarily have the squeeze of the NYC market.

It is virtually impossible to do from overseas although there are some online banks that make the process possible - but if they have no way to confirm your identity (credit check, address confirmation...) federal regulations make it near impossible.

This could be an unsecured personal loan or you could secure it with a lien against his home, car, art collection, purchase orders, etc.You could also loan money to your friend's lending business for any use and he could sign for it as an officer of his company.

I am currently spending on average 1 to 3 hours a day reading about and planning the details of how to begin Virtually wholesaling property in the UK, and I have set myself the goals of having my first property deal completed before the end of April next year, and to be consistently completing two wholesale deals a month by the last 3 months of next year.
