I’d say the 300k property is probably going to get you a 3bed home which is the most competitive in San Antonio.

Condo's/Homes in Campton, NH are still very reasonable and it's very close to all of the activities in Lincoln, Plymouth etc...

You can leave your old home loan alone.  

While some people are forced to invest OOS, and sometimes it makes sense, I think for most investors, staying close to home solves lots of problems and Warren Buffet says invest in what you KNOW. 

For context I don’t just watch them, I’m actually directing them where to do what and helping them to bring supplies over as the location is remote from large department stores like Home Depot.

I got my bill for my house in Lake Oswego from Safeco which I had had for years and it was always around 2k to 2.3 k  i get the bill its 6k.. i call my agent and told him no way.. and he hunted around and found me something maybe 500 cheaper .. so I thought I have a aaa card I know they sell insurance and are reputable.. walk in there 1800 bucks done and I have full  basement ( which is rare on a new home in Oregon) and they gave me a much higher insurance amount if my sump pump fails.. bottom line shop.u
