The main reasons I am exploring NC as an option were because I'm remote for the pandemic so I could stay down there and I don't know the area I live in well anyways (recently moved down from my home state of MA).

Nothing like I would have had to pay for hard money (I explored that option as well).

I am exploring ways that I can leave my full time job and be able to still finance some buy and holds. 

I'm going to start exploring Columbia.

Definitely keep exploring to find something lower. 

@Gustavo Juarez I wouldn't get into buying properties all cash or super cheap ones either, especially until you have explored other options. 

I also explored the Roofstock option and I absolutely love their portal.

If you want to explore it further, I'm happy to set you up on an MLS search so you at least know what's out there.

The reason I am writing this post is because I will need to send them the option to extend their lease next month and want to explore the different options I have as a landlord to value and retain them.
