I don't plan on moving out soon but as I am starting to earn money I am faced with the question:Should I use my excess money to pay off my house quicker until the PMI is gone and save on my monthly mortgage payment, then eventually I can move out and turn it into a rentalorshould I save that money for a down payment on my first rental and continue paying my current mortgage?

Generally if the cleaning/trash out is excessive you can deduct that from the security deposit before refund.

If you have time and not a lot of excess cash it’s ok to manage the first few to save some money and learn some things but you will most likely make costly mistakes so even that may not be a good idea.
