The way I see it, the more the state is locked down and the more the distance education is being promoted, the less reason there is for any student to pay on campus rent, when they can stay with their parents or just rent a cheaper place to live.

Another company I've recently received promotional materials from,  provides a marketplace for portfolios of rental properties to buyers that are institutional investors, such as hedge funds.   

I know one guru who promotes these kind of deals.

What is enticing is the quality of the area.
