If you plan to buy a barely cash flowing property with mostly cash, the whole real estate argument goes out of the window.

I have been watching several of Mark Kohler's videos on Youtube regarding tax strategies and planning, and came across something that made me scratch my head. 

Can someone confirm my understanding of using Stessa and what I plan on doing or give some advice.

The home is located in a Master Plan neighborhood with good schools, nice amenities, etc.My plan is to then move out of the 2nd home in a year and rent it for an actual profit and move into a new home using my wife's VA loan entitlement. 

The plan is list 10 of our units on Airbnb (we have current PM systems, hospitality, cleaners and maintenance techs in the area already).

I later learned that it may be possible to split the lot through an SB-9 lot split which may optimize the value creation.I would love to connect with community members who are planning / in the process / or have finished an SB-9 lot split!

If you are cash buying everything, yes you can be anonymous but if you plan on financing anything, that goes out the window.
