The only reason I did not move forward was because I want to use leverage for my purchases while they prefer cash, and while their COO Peter was very cool and said they could potentially do my deals, the loan had a balloon payment at the end which is not the type of loan I am looking for.

I look forward to networking with everyone especially in the South Florida area (for now) particularly those that are hard chargers and preferably know of or have a good meetup or mastermind group that I could join.

We have been in downtown Oakland for 50 years, managing 80 units and couple hundred parking spaces. and are looking at other local markets.

I know with rentals, many prefer the pre-fab shower inserts.  

I've driven for dollars, posted "We'll Buy Your House" ads on Craigslist and Facebook, mailed a list of people and only ran into a couple of people who wanted way more than their house is worth.

I have my one and only SFR rented out to this older couple since May of this year.

I haven't even put it up for rent yet and have already had a couple of inquiries, so it seems I will have no trouble getting it rented out.  

The story is this....the house has been abandoned for the past couple of months because the woman who lived there is older and moved in with her kids.

I just helped a couple get a fixer upper in Hiawatha and a bank owned property on the NE side in the last few weeks. 

I worked most Saturdays from 7-5 and many times a couple hours on Sundays.
