Is there any similar real estate investor software out there which is the same they are providing?

Long story short, the owners currently have a legacy version of Yardi and they would like to upgrade to a more modern, internet-based system.Two questions:1) What would BiggerPockets' recommendation be on new software?

If you're talking about Millersville Road south of 46th  you want to at least drive the block and drive your comps  to confirm your ARV number.  

With that being said, I'm wondering if anyone out there had any "hacks"...for example using specific software/Google voice/partners.

the idea is that 1) a call will immediately confirm if anyone else noticed the same issue or if it is possible that complaint is an exaggeration and 2) sending a letter to each tenant will place any tenant doing drugs on notice that their behavior is known and therefore may get them to stop/change such that the complaints go away.what do you think?
