How are you on BOCA, OSHA, Environmental Engineering, Marketing, Planning & Zoning aspects, obtaing zoning variances, politics in the area, working with utilities and thier engineers, financing projects......I could go on....Point is, you won't get this out of a few books, universities offer degree programs and new grads still are only prepared to assist an established developer.Best thing is to work with one and learn.Many developers were GCs before they started, probably started with a small number of lots and built in phases or got an existing area and built to suit.

Joel, my partners sister works at a local credit union and is working on some programs for us, otherwise it will be cash.

I'd be interested in chatting with you about some investment opportunities, or at least seeing if we can send some rehab work your way if we do buy there.Also wouldn't mind finding out if you have any experience in the Youngstown market?

What are your thoughts on the reality of this program?

In my area, all landlords that would like to participate in the Section 8 program must attend a Landlord Briefing in which they explain the process, expectation and give you tips on selecting a tenant, maybe they have that in your area.Good Luck !

It was informative, but being still in college, I couldn't afford the fees to get into the program.

They put in bulbs that I really like that seem like natural daylight.No charge, part of an energy saving program.

Their name alone pulls buyers and sellers, which helps make up the gap of your lesser experience.Do they have a training program for new agents?
