For those who have bank loans on their vehicles, the lender may give forbearance, but I doubt the Auto Insurance companies will.Some people pay Auto Insurance months at a time, some pay monthly, some get it with their homeowners insurance, but one thing that may bite a lot of people is miss an vehicle insurance payment and 'The Man" will come and Repo your car.

I've used other credit unions that required memberships years ago for auto loans and I still have those accounts open with like $1 and change sitting in them.

Then you meet them at the property, hand them the key and give expectations such as when and how to replace air filters, properly use the thermostat including making sure the fan is on 'auto' and never 'on', where the trash/recycling cans are kept and when to put them at the curb, etc.

If it wasn't for o/time meals, o/time pay, paid lunches & auto mileage payouts of $300-$400/month I might have been struggling.I worked from 85-98 then retired, (regretfully) sold some of those that appreciated nicely, sold partnerships in others to pay down debt & then accumulate more & have not had a mortgage or any debt since.
