How about the Free house-sitter angle?

I'm not saying that it can't be done, but go in to it with eyes wide open and ask yourself if you have the time and skill set to do this.

I can reasonably imagine that the property could assess for 120k if you looked at it from the right angle with direct sunlight.So my question.

It will just be a country wide, world wide, social media/mass media educational public service announcement, one blog post, facebook update, Twitter update, instagram photo, youtube video at a time. 

The value-add angle is nice, but you can do that in your environment with less hassle.You didn't mention a location, but judging by the price and the fact that you used the word 'house,' I am going to take a guess that it is city suburbs.

If the cracks are wide then a more invasive solution may be required.

Unfortunately, one week ago, a strong north wind blew a 3-course thick, 20 ft high brick wall over onto the car wash property,totaling a work truck belonging to the owner, a small storage trailer, damaged part of the wall of a single wide trailer, and crushed his kids 50cc four wheelers.

(Caveat, that may get overturned by politics this year or next, hard to tell for certain.)Bottom line: I’d angle to keep that condo, but leverage it opportunistically for a future acquisition.
