Strongly disagree.Yes your leasing, screening, and deposit is similar but marketing and operations are much closer to a hotel or STR than LTR.Out of nearly 1,000 mid-term reservations this year across my portfolio, I have not gotten a single reservation from zillow, apartments.com, or craigslist.Mid term rental guests are not looking at those sites.

You can just refinance your US property with a US bank at 3%.Aside from the security aspect, it makes no sense for a private equity lender to lend at 8% in Costa Rica since they can lend in the US at much more than 8%.Finally, private equity houses will only finance big multimillion dollar deals like large hotels, not the kind of deals that Shiloh is contemplating.

@John Underwood You know what I mean right John - it's a Condo on the beach, that is mainly STRs or in a Hotel Program - great building, but I am told they don't qualify for conventional financing due to them being not primary used for "Owner Occupied"
