Hey All,After hours of research, reading and using BP Forums to ask and read questions and answers, I (think) I have decided where I would like to focus in regards to purchasing my first Rental property.Before I would submit any offers, I want to give myself the adequate time to go check out these neighborhoods, talk to residents and check out their local economies and shops In order to ensure I am happy with my choices before proceeding.As I prepare to go to these different communities (looking in the CT area), I was wondering if anybody who has done similar trips (I am assuming its pretty standard practice, unless the property is far away).

I figured option periods were very standard especially coming off of the MLS because of the fact that if a normal homebuyer was to buy the property they would have to do their due diligence before closing on the property.

He ended with that he will not respond to any points further and that he will take me to court, and then try to charge me for his time and his administrative person’s time (who I know does not exist, given it takes him 3+ weeks to respond to emails and there has never been anyone but him).TL;DR: I had an agree up price to remodel my kitchen with a contractor but never signed any contract, during the work I noticed a few items that did not meet standards that I requested they fix, and then nearly a month after the work was completed, I received a new estimate with a 30% increase in cost.

If I had to guess, I think we'll see revenues and occupancy dip slightly over the next 3-6 months, but again, that's just a guess.However, there is still an opportunity to acquire self storage facilities, especially with the low interest rate environment we're seeing.
