If I were completely gutting the kitchen, then I would wait until the work was mostly done so renters could get an idea of what they would be paying for.

So, the residential property would need to be traditionally rented (whole unit/house) for at least a year before rent-by-the-room income would count towards gross income?

Also, I ordered a sewer scope and they could not get the scope all the way through to the main sewer line because of some blockage so i have no idea if the main sewer line looks ok.
