Have been thinking of buying a rental home in texas and wondering if folks have suggestion on how to choose a city between Pfungerville, Round rock, Leander, Cedar park and Georgetown. any pro tips to take care while selecting one area over other. thank you.

Mold  must be removed.And to remove it it requires that you remove the trim and then remove the mold, then you have to re sheet rock , then tape and mud several coats of mud, then install new trim.Then putty and caulk the trim,   then repaint everything again, two coats at least. 

However I just might because getting our tools & renting a truck to haul sheet rock and more sounds extensive. 

:not necessarily. could've been just like you, but not tearing things apart to check. proving somebody knew something is an endeavor in of itself. inspectors cant see through sheet rock.. 

Get familiar with the market and get very familiar and comfortable with the property managers....plan A, B, and C.
