We had a recent FHA quote with 3.5% down in the high 5%’s..What do you expect from the purchase and refinance markets if rates drop by 1%?

PURCHASE PRICE AND MORTGAGE: I purchased the property for $270,000 put 25% down, and it appraised for $290,000.There is a complete identical property to mine directly behind my unit and it sold about a month ago for $280,000 the same day it was listed.

It was purchased for $2.4 million in 2022.

Hi everyone,I'm ironing out my investment strategy of purchasing multi-family rental properties, but I'm a bit stuck on choosing the location.

This is going to be my first property I am purchasing and I am looking to house hack by buying a multi-family with 5% down. 

We currently own a home and are leveraging off that asset to purchase the rental. 

I am purchasing a 20 unit building in socal.
