As others stated, they have investors waiting for their next deal so there's no need to do much networking/promotion. 

In six months I knew the products inside and out and I was promoted to Loan Officer. 

I had it under contract mid week in under 72 hours and in that time wasn't even the highest big, just the most attractive and promoted by the agent.I have a friend that invests in Atlanta, but that starts shifting toward speculating on continued strong appreciation.
