I'd love to hear how some of you spent your first few months of financial freedom; for now, I'm just travelling around the country, visiting, family, friends, and war buddies, and I'm trying to figure out what to do next.

After the headache of getting a green card and moving to another country.

In Indianapolis we can live for free through house hacking, but I know that elsewhere in the country that's only a dream.  

Lots rent between $200 and $300/month in this part of the country and the park owner typically responsible for maintaining water/sewer infrastructure and roadways.

Now I have added an out of country trip every 2 years. 

Seems he's gone to country clerk and the original attorney handling his case, but no luck.   

I live in an area that is too expensive for me to invest (San Francisco), so I'm looking for areas across the country where I can buy some apartments/multi-family homes for rental income.My question to the group is, how do you develop market expertise to decide in what part of the country to invest?

As an out of town (state/country) investor you want to reach out to as many people as you can and have them all thinking about you regularly.
