I have had a quote for a nylon plush carpet (light brown) for $22 per square yard (including installation and 6lb pad) - I have no idea if this is a good deal. 

Hired a GC to do the bathrooms and install one kitchen's cabinets/counter tops, a plumber to do some frozen pipe work and a landscaper for general yard clean up and lawn maintenance. 

I am able to get rent of about $52,000 but that doesn't include water, sewage, gas and electric, and wireless, and yard maintenance which are included in rent.

I have learned to be proactive with the problem by putting out rat poison blocks around the yard on all four sides of the homes.You can buy a large bucket of Poison blocks from Home Depot or Lowes for under $25.00, then place them in areas that rats or mice would come from. 

The other problem is that there is no yard, and I have always had a veggie garden...usually a big one.
