The mother was in the hospital, father had a stroke and was receiving homecare, and their son (24 yrs old) was working part time. 

Hi @Joe Manfredi I am just getting started in a 30 bedroom joint venture senior living and assisted living, it is a very good business the down side I see is the high insurance cost and the management but the catch flows are great in California we have to get a special permit which is also costly, and the rehabbing the property to fit the seniors living standards, if they are fully running with permits ask for income statements what are the returns because of the high cost of maintaining such a property ask for 1) how many senior 1 per bedroom or share beds to increase cash but decrease desirability 2)  what they charge and what they get in return 3) do they have a CNA or nurse come and checks ?

My father has done several new builds, and my mother was once a licensed broker.  

The estate of the Mother would pass to her natural heirs.

The property was close to a regional medical center and nurses tend to get flown in to provide extra help and she also managed her own mobile homes through airbnb.

Here's a few of the good ones:- Traveling physicians, nurses, and healthcare researchers- Visiting educators and professors- Families of individuals undergoing medical procedures or extended recovery- Government contractors- Military personnel and their familiesAnd that's just to name a few.If you're willing to put in a small amount of additional effort in reaching out to the HR department at a regional medical center nearby, the admissions office of a local university or a local teaching hospital, and other research facilities, etc., you may find that you'll be in like flint.  

My brother and I inherited my mothers home in December of 2014 and sold one year later in December 2015.  

In other words, if they rent from someone else they'll be asking grandpa for money to pay that rent.Hopefully they will abide by your request not to work with grandpa any further but I suspect that since grandpa and grandma are in South Carolina and you're in Georgia, these tenants might continue to hit up grandpa for these things same as before.One has to bring up the issue with aging relatives....is grandpa able to continue handling his finances or is he at risk (as my partners mother was from Bills brother) of being taken advantage financially due to changes secondary to elderly dementia issues?
